1. instructions
After creating the BURN site, I wrote instructions to empower SoundVision’s in-house producers and tech support to update their site within the WordPress dashboard while still complying with my style guide. Over the course of 8 chapters and 30-some pages I stepped through virtually every core edit in detail, including screen captures of key interface elements and integration of streams from SoundCloud and YouTube.
2. team workflow
When it came time to hand over the reins of BURN, SoundVision needed help understanding the maze of information that went into building the site: hosting & servers, desktop and online software & hardware, team coordination and production workflow, admin access, passwords, streaming dependencies, and social media integration. I mapped it all out.
