6. tumblr integration
5. twitter integration
4. youtube integration
All SoundVision’s professionally produced BURN video content lives on the BURN YouTube channel — a growing library of high-calibre audio and video journalism on the state of energy science and policy in the US.
SoundVision streams featured video pieces into the BURN home page and on topical internal pages. In both worlds the user has access to expanded information and options for subscriptions and sharing.
4. soundcloud integration
SoundCloud has become the Facebook of audio, with an enormous base of audiophiles — musicians, recording artists, fans — and an expanding base of radio news and podcast activists. SoundVision posts their public radio productions in the BURN SoundCloud library and we stream them on BURN in our custom audio player.
The SoundCloud widget maximizes sharing opportunities with links to share tracks via FB, Twitter, Google+, and email, as well as embed codes and comments which can be pinpointed to exact points along the track timeline.
And of course once you’re in SoundCloud, interaction expands exponentially.
At the top of every page and at the foot of every article users can share BURN with links to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, RSS and Pinterest, or hundreds of others via AddThis.
3. facebook integrated comments
Employing the Facebook Social Plugin, we gave BURN users the option to post their comments on their FB page, so replies on FB are propagated into the thread on BURN, and vice-versa.
2. social media links
1. social media portals
It is virtually a requirement of modern business to have a presence in social media, and that’s especially true for clients with digital media to share. I helped SoundVision get a start by applying the BURN identity throughout the branding templates of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, SoundCloud, and Tumblr, as well as in banners, avatars, and favicons.
NOTE: most of the original landing pages I build are no longer live at the links above, but some of the BURN badges and color branding are still intact. Below are my original theme packages.
