Real Time Strategic Change, a long-time consultant partner of Polarity Management Associates, had developed its own set of core components called the RTSC Principles. During the 3 year development of the PMAP software, the RTSC Principles were folded into the program, which meant their graphic iris needed a facelift.

The RTSC Principles were initially listed as 7 steps and worked in a continuous clockwise spiral, repeating forever. A circular iris made sense. But when the seven steps were streamlined to six, a hexagon was the natural calling.
