10:10:10 kick coal out of LA rally at city hall
The Sierra Club’s Beyond Coal campaign has been extraordinarily effective at blocking new coal plants from being build, and for shuttering existing ones. I wanted to show support for their 10:10:10 rally at LA City Hall.
As with my messaging for 350.org, I felt it was important to create an image that would be useful to the Sierra Club’s broader media coverage efforts. Something sound-bite simple, something with a layered meaning.
I was particularly pleased with the Fire Coal double-entendre. And as always, I’m grateful for the partnership of my wife and kids.
